The Challenge

The finance team at Floryn is small and crucial. You will work with Maikel (finance manager) and Mila (financial controller) to ensure that the financial operation and reporting cycle run smoothly, especially now that Floryn is growing rapidly and expanding internationally.

The month follows a clear rhythm. The first half focuses on month-end closing and reporting with deadlines. The second half allows for more depth, projects, process improvements, and expanding your responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who already has a solid foundation in finance and is now ready to take the step towards more responsibility and content. You don't need to know everything yet, but you are not a beginner anymore. You understand how an administration and closing process work and want to learn how to gain more control, insight, and structure.

What will you do?

You will be involved in a wide range of tasks. Think of:

• financial administration: from invoice processing and payments to a smooth accounts payable flow;

• month-end closing and management reporting, including provisions and intercompany bookings;

• preparing quarterly reports for investors and supporting processes related to new investors;

• handling ad hoc issues, such as corrections, validations, and exceptions;

• supporting HR-related administrative processes such as contract processing and on- and offboarding;

• preparing tax work and the audit (VAT, corporate tax) and supporting during the annual financial audit;

• contributing to data-driven projects and acting as a stakeholder in collaboration with development, for example, in the setup of new products or processes as needed.

• Salary between €3,800 - €5,200 gross per month (based on 40 hours) depending on experience

You are analytically strong and thrive on creating overview and structure. You enjoy working with numbers and improving processes. You are someone who takes responsibility, learns quickly, and is proactive.

Additionally:

• You have a completed HBO or WO degree in finance, business economics, accountancy, or something similar.

• You have 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience.

• You have an affinity with Excel or Google Sheets and want to excel in this.

• You work accurately and ensure that deadlines are met.

• Proficiency in the Dutch language is a plus.
